Thermite isn't explosive, but corrosive.
thermite isnt corrosive or explosive it burns at very high temperatures wich can easily be at over 5000 degrees F
Its for sale and unregulated because thermite is used commercially for welding and railroad work.
Also, any terrorist who knows anything will know not to use thermite, because it is difficult to light and not very useful for any of their purposes (terrorists seek to either a] blow themself up, taking everyone with them or b] causing fear by blowing up a building or utilizing a car bomb. Thermite cannot serve either of these purposes)
